A Reflection on the Incident of Floyd’s Death

2020年美國因為佛洛伊德之死引發的「黑人的命也是命」抗議運動,一時之間轟動全球,讓美國長期以來潛在的種族歧視浮現檯面。作為一個台灣高中生,我們也對於這件事有一些想法,想從「黑人的命也是命」這運動開始,思索美國《獨立宣言》中「人皆生而平等」的真諦。藉由佛洛伊德之死的思辨之旅,研究者從自身對種族平權的關懷出發,藉由心智圖與文獻探討,以六頂思考帽方式整理出問卷調查的量化和質化問題,蒐集129位台灣民眾對於此事件的觀點。透過以上研究方法,研究者瞭解到「人皆生而平等」是崇高的理念,然而美國黑人爭取平權的過程背後卻是辛酸血淚史。藉由問卷研究,我們聆聽到台灣民眾關懷種族平權的心聲,明瞭將種族平等觀念付諸行動,須從社群媒體的影響力、政府的公權力介入與踏實教育等面向來持續努力,也需藉由理性思辨讓人們朝種族平權的未來走去。
