In the beginning, we encountered all kinds of setbacks.  We were lost, and we couldn't even find a subject to start with.  Our progress was slow, and we even rewrote our stories a few times.

     The teacher was  as nervous as we were because she thought we might not have been able to finish the story  before the group presentation.  We realized that we were in lack of time, so we tried brainstorming and came up with  a few stories.  However,  the teacher did not like any of them, and she even told us that we were off track.

     We tried, and we failed over and over again.  Nevertheless,  we did not give up and we thought of an idea.  Why don't we just write an inspirational story about never giving up to encourage those who had the same experience?
