•The mask symbolizes “pretense and insincerity” in the present society.  People often hide their true thoughts because of interpersonal relationships or work factors.  What we want to do is to remind  our readers whether wearing a “mask” is the right decision.  Should we conform to the “pretense” in the society, or should we just follow our own hearts?

• We chose Abigale as the main character’s name because Abigale means the original hope in ancient Hebrew.
