Authors worry about the problem of food waste around the world. One-fifth of the world's population is starving; however, people in the developed countries are wasting food every day.

Authors want to raise the public awareness of food waste in a dramatic way. Ann, the main character, is punished by the god, Annburger king, and loses her sense of her taste. Ann finally gets her sense of taste back by promising not to waste food again.
