This study was established mainly to think about Taiwanese environmental education, protection and consciousness from students’perspective. In recent years, natural and men-made disasters are everywhere. Environmental awareness is rising. How to protect  our country and land has been an important issue for the citizens of　new generation. In Taiwan, there is a documentary named Beyond Beauty: Taiwan　from Above, which mainly describes the natural beauty as well as the impact of human　activities and urbanization upon our environment. The environmental protection　administration even uses this　documentary as the teaching material for　elementary-school students and high school students. The documentary has awakened　environmental awareness and actions. Thus, this study focuses on the feedbacks of　high-school and university students of northern Taiwan. Through promoting the　activities of broadcasting this documentary, we would like to know if students got　environmental consciousness through this documentary. After the broadcasting, we　issued the questionnaires, including 381 university students’ questionnaires and 100　senior-high-school questionnaires. After the data analysis, we also did field study and　further interviewed with the representative of the international　organization-Greenpeace. We hope that this study can guide more students to think　deeply regarding the issues of environmental protection and sustainability.
