Our picture book, ”Alice's modern adventure” talks about a girl named Alice and her friend Mr. Rabbit travel to the modern world accidentally. Apart from learning new things about modern world, they also find some problems there. We let the readers know the importance of protecting our environment from being polluted.

 

The reason that we choose Alice in the Wonderland to turn into modern version is that Alice in the Wonderland is a renowned picture book and everyone are familiar with the plot. Another reason is we think it would be easier to adapt a well-known picture book than to create our own story totally. By the comparison of “the Wonderland” and “Modern world”,  this book can express more differences between them.
