This picture book we create is very suitable for children to read, because it expresses what important the teamwork is. We use anthropomorphism;  By this way, every character is lively and has and different individuality just like us. It is really close to our life. Our main character is a pencil. In the beginning, he wants to draw the most beautiful as a birthday’s gift to his owner.  However, other stationery doesn’t think so. They color the painting one by one in order to make the painting better.  Not only the pencil is selfish but also other stationery just mind their own business. 

The orderless situation leads to the water in the cup is turnovered . The whole painting was ruined, causing a big fight. At last the owner found something wrong, so she stood up and said: “If all of you are not united, everything just gets messy. I can’t accept this kind of gift, even if it is the most beautiful one.”

Finally they realize the importance of teamwork and determine to complete the most beautiful painting together.
