Most of the picture books have a clear, positive theme. We have been discussing this for a long time and finally decided to create a story based on the idea “Don't judge a book by its cover.”

        Nowadays, people tend to judge one's abilities based on his or her appearance and we think it is wrong. And that's why we want to tell children -- “A person's appearance is not equal to his or her ability.”  Just like the little monkey in our story, he is ugly rather than good-looking, but he still tries his best to win others' respect and friendship.
