St. John's Anglican College Education co-operation
Letter of Educational Co-operation between St John's Anglican College and Taipei Municipal Shilin High School of Commerce
We, the undersigned, do formally accept this Letter of Co-operation as a symbol of the special relationship that exists between our two schools.
The aim of this letter is to formalize the existing friendship and co-operation between our two institutions, and hence to realize learning from each other and improve the quality of educational services.
St John's Anglican College and Taipei Municipal Shilin High School of Commerce will co-operate to hold successful Study Tour programmes. The purpose of these Study Tour programmes is to combine intensive English language instruction with educational, cultural and recreational activities. Both schools aim to assist students and teachers to gain a deeper insight into Australian culture and way of life while studying at St John's Anglican College.
The co-operation between us includes short and long term Study Tours during the summer and winter vacations and educational communication between teachers and students from both sides.
It is through this activity that we bring together two different but compatible educational philosophies that endeavour to foster the value of the global community of which we are all part. May we continue to strengthen and enrich our relationship an, in so doing, encourage all to accept the need for international understanding as the cornerstone of man's progress.
